Stephanie is a documentary filmmaker, audio storyteller, and recent transplant to Perth, Western Australia. She is a 2020 graduate of the George Washington University Institute of Documentary Filmmaking. Her storytelling kicked off in 2015 after completing an audio production class at a community radio station in Takoma Park, Maryland. Her stories draw upon an MA in Cultural Anthropology from the New School for Social Research and years working in disability justice and with the unhoused. Associations: International Documentary Association; Women in Film and Television- Australia; WIFT-Washington, DC.

As a filmmaker and storyteller, my pulse is my divining rod to find and shape stories in surprising ways. I enjoy composing films and audio stories with characters, music/sounds, and visuals exploring themes of accountability, community organizing, political engagement, health equality, disability justice, and working-class issues.
